Quick question! Does the park layout change at all? Maybe I just got turned around a few times but it seems like the gazebo/bathrooms/emptiness layout changes each playthrough.

its only a demo, I don't think you're gonna see much use of the dynamic map effects of Director 2.0 in 2 limited stages of a campaign.

So that's a no?

No - 1
Yes - 0
Maybe - 1

more like a maybe.

You can't expect full use of a AI in 2 stages of a demo.

I've never noticed any dynamic paths in the park at all. The only changes of anything there are amount of zombies and items, though even then you can expect there to always at least be a gun on the picnic table, and a gun and melee weapon on the gazebo.

I'm going to say no, it stays the same every time.

Yup: three I've seen.

The Door to the Cafe leading to the courtyard
The alleyway leading to the courtyard
and the fence that you can jump.

They each are randomly blocked off.

Hmm, I guess the actual park doesn't change. I'll check again to make sure. Thanks.

I actually meant the layout of the park. I could have sworn the gazebo rotated to a different position.

Come to think of it, the gazebo does seem a lot further away sometimes.

That's TP:1. The Park is TP:2.

The Gazebo moves? Guess I've not played the demo as much as you guys.

Well considering he was asking about the park your post is pretty useless.

Little things changes, like how he mentioned the door in the cafe being locked or not. However, I don't think there is a shift where the entire bathroom building are in the park changes location.

Yeah, you guys are right. It would have been interesting if they could have pulled this kind of thing off though.

Actually, I noticed a couple, mostly in singleplayer though, at the part where you run like hell to turn off the alarm, if you're doing really good, tons of zombies will almost ALWAYS spawn off of the building before you reach it, or after the second corner tons will start running down. A zombie change, but a damn big one lol. And in single player, since I'm usually in the lead, those are just a big "♥♥♥♥ you"...

TP:2 hasn't changed a bit through any of the countless playthroughs I've been on it, save for what weapons spawn in their set locations and where other items show up. I'm pretty sure the restrooms are part of the level geometry, and the gazebo is just a static prop.

Other than weapon spawns, I haven't noticed a thing different in TP2.
