Update Problem

Hi when i go to update my linux server i get this error message

AccountSubscriptionsBillingInfoRecord field left in stripped in CSubscriberAccountRecord

Any ideas what is wrong?

Remove the ClientRegistry.blob file in your /home/userdir/.steam/ Directory

There is no clientregistry.blob file in there. There is Installrecord.blob

are u using the ./steam command or a different one?

i ues something like this... ./steam -update GAME /home/username/hlds_l USER PASS

Dont look in your hlds folder, goto the exact folder i specified, note the /.steam/ make sure you use the .

yer there isnt a clientregistry.blob file there i use this to try and update the server

./steam -update cstrike /home/hlservers/Public username password y

hlservers is a user's hlservers home dir? cd /home/hlservers/.steam/ it isnt their?
If not you could safely delete it anyways and try an update.
rm -rf /home/hlservers/.steam/
