I am not a graphics ( lady of the night )

SO I will get the hives opinion..My laptop just fell out of factory warranty.. I can sell the laptop for $650 and spend another $400 and spend that $1050 to buy a new gateway with a slightly faster processor and a 260m gtx..
or I can play this bad boy until the wheels fall off and probably get a better laptop for cheaper 1-2 years from now!
My fear is if my laptop fails without a warranty I will be SOL and less some cash.....

Current laptop!

Asus G50VT-x5
Processor 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P7450
Memory 4GB, 800MHz DDR2
Hard drive 320GB 7,200rpm
Chipset Mobile Intel PM45 Express Chipset
Graphics 512MB Nvidia GeForce 9800M GS

Option is

Gatway P-7915u FX

2.53GHz

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M

Is the difference worth $400 for a warranty and upgraded graphics?

This is basically a what would you do scenario!

I basically use this thing at work to play L4D2 and Borderlands..

If I were you, I would set my price and see if I get any takers. If you don't get our price, keep it. Your price looks okay, but that is if it is nearly perfect condition and you have your packaging. Otherwise they seem to go for a little less.

If you are a gamer on a laptop you need that 260. But $400 plus more to get there is a bit much to swallow.
