5770(and save) vs 5770 x2 vs 5850

I've been on getting a 5000 series radeon since I build my computer in end of august, I put in a 4350 to hold me over for $20.
My current specs are:
Pheonom II x4 955 3.2Ghz
ASUS M4A78T-E
4gb Gskill DDR3 1600
CM storm scout
CM Silent Pro 700 Watts

I've been going between a 5850 or a 5770, do think that extra ~$150 makes a difference, or would crossfireing 2 of them make a difference?

4890 (or even 4870 1GB/GTX 260) >> 5770

5850 imo. I'm not a fan of SLI or crossfire myself, its smarter to just get one big bad ♥♥♥ card than two lesser cards. The drivers and support just isn't good enough for me yet.

also, memory performance with 5770 CF is going to be disproportionally bad in comparison to its processing power.
