Hey, I have a laptop with a Intel GMA x4500. Can I run games like TF2 and HL2:E2 on high settings? I know it's a crap card but is it possible?

No, absolutely not. You only can do mostly low settings with an average of 20-40 FPS. Sometimes even lower.

What kind of CPU do you have?

Hell no. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9YPWOlGKCQ)
^ That is at a very low resolution with everything set on low, it's still not brilliant...No after watching more it's quite terrible and has had some CVARs changed to make it run better.

Your probably going to be stuck playing even older games like Doom, Doom 2, Quake (maybe even Quake 2 or Quake 3). You should be able to play casual games, and many games on GOG.com and on Steam that are not graphically intensive. But those mentioned, yeah pretty much on low settings, no higher than 800 x 600 resolution.

The GPU is very weak. Current games on the market will run like a slide-show. You should be able to play HL2 and TF2 with a mixture of low/medium settings at a very low resolution. Here (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-4500MHD-GMA-X4500MHD.9883.0.html) is a review of the Intel GMA x4500.

If that's how the 4500 runs, I can't imagine the 950 ...

The 950 is not actually a bad card. You can actually watch DVDs and play flash games without any lag. :) But back on target, the Intel GMA x4500 is pretty much horrible when it comes to gaming.
