I'm running 64 bit Vista Home Premium with 9100 Geforce, I haven't played COD in a while so I decided what the hell? Ran it, seemed fine, then crashes with a long paragraph of a Fatal Error with my Graphics Card. Maybe I need to rollback to a previous, or beta driver?

Not exactly sure what the error was, but for me it always crashed to the desktop with an 8800 GTS card running windows 7 64 bit on a quad core cpu.
What fixed it for me was getting a tool called nHancer.

When you load it it up it will first scan for games you have installed, and some other software as well.
Once the scan is completed select Call of Duty, on the right hand side at the top you then have 3 tabs, select "Compatibility". Under that tab you have 2 other tabs "direct3d" and "OpenGL". Select "OpenGL" and then look for the 4th option "Driver Extension Limit". Tick the box and enter "11a8" without the quotes.
After you've done this try and launch it again and see if that works for you.
If it doesn't you are probably having a different problem than I had.
Take care.
