I snapped my copy of 03 in half in frustration one day a few years back. I'd buy the Unreal pack on sale, but it's not got 03?

UT2K3 is forgotten now. UT2K4 includes all of UT2K3's maps, anyway.

But UT2004 doesn't have UT2003's single player campaign, which was really all i cared about.

UT 2004 does include the single-player campaign. In fact, UT 2004 was basically just a rehash/re-release of UT 2003 (a very annoying trick on Epic's part to make more money off us by selling a few new features as a full, new game).

Mind you; '03 did have a good intro cutscene for the campaign (which, incidentally, is in '04 somewhere; somewhere in the options menu I think). You'd think that Juggernaut fan would've known that Gorge would throw him back into the crowd like that.

at least they gave ut2k3 owners a discount that bought ut2k4 *cough valve cough*

From what I understand, Epic considers UT2003 to be a beta of UT2004 that should never have been released in the first place.

Well, they charged me 40 bucks for it, it counts. F'in Epic.

UT2k3 was still ♥♥♥♥ing awesome on release, I played the hell out of it. But yeah, as far as I can remember 2k4 has everything that 2k3 does (and tons and tons more.) Only thing not in it is that you get a smaller selection of player models in the single player campaign of 2k4, but a mod will have fixed that.

UT2004 is UT2003 with tons of extra maps, weapons, game modes and with vehicles, characters and both UT2003 bonus packs and some other stuff.
Pretty much all the UT2k3 content is tucked away somewhere in UT2k4. You can still get back the weapon skins for instance (which I liked better for UT2K3).

I have both, but made an image of my UT03 disc so it was a DVD, cos when I reinstall Windows, I have to reinstall the game cos it wants the key. I got fed up disc swapping so made a DVD image out of it. I still play both of them and have them patched high enough to not need CD's
