Okay, I'm running Windows 7 Prof x64.
Ati 4870(C9.12) with 20" 1600x900@60Hz LCD.
I have Children of the Nile Pack.

The monitor shows me a message saying "the profile doesnt exist"
right after I start the game but the picture is all stretched up in low res so that part of the game menu doest not fit in the screen.
I tried video menu but the game just doesnt recognize any change of resolution. And stays the same. I tried to look into the information menu of my monitor and I saw 1024x768 @ 70Hz. O_o
Restarting the game, deleting config files, editing config file manually doesnt work. Please help.

Intros are at 800x600. Menu and interface are 1024x768 O_o.. game is actually at 1600x900 now, but the interface again is ugly stretched, low resolution textures and I really don't like it. Damn!

This needs to go into a support forum. If it is not a Valve product, you will need to find the developer of the game and go to their site.

Although I do not have this game, most likely the solution to the issue with opening intros and pages is a preference file which may or may not reside in either a config file or file with the name "preference" anywhere in the title.

Find the game's developer, go to their site, find the support forum.

Just started playing the game, and i kept playing with the resolution settings / restarting and they wouldn't change, but it seems that it's just that the main menu is stuck at 1024 x 768, but when you start playing a game it goes to the proper resolution that was selected.

Boot-Screen and Video are in low resolutions. It seems to me, there is no streching in in the menu at 16:10 format (my pcs 1920 x 1200 resolution is not streched for example, but my notebooks 1366 x 768 is streched)
