Double Agent unplayable, is anyone else haiving these issues?

The game runs fine, then after anywhere from 5-10 minutes, the game freezes up and computer requires a restart. Nothing I do or have read on boards fixes it.

I have owned the previous 3 SC games and loved them completely, and I have never had issues like this before.

Any advice?

Pretty much 80%+ of PC players had those issues. Sorry mate, just check the ubi forums, you're not alone.

Are you on vista? It really messed up my computer on Vista. I had to send it in to HP to get it fixed. My screen wouldn't even come on. I installed Windows 7 and tried it again today and now I am running the game fine. Can't join multiplayer for some reason. It won't accept my login and cd key. :o

I just bought the game, same problem but it doesn't take me 5-10 minutes, takes me like 2.

I tried the training courses... I would get to a certain point and the game would freeze, and a sort of colored checkered pattern would show up on screen.

I can play Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead 2 and the like all just fine. Why DA is giving me issues... I don't know, but I just wasted $10.
