Especially if game saves are in My Documents etc.

Thanks.

Only those saved within the games directories. So the ones in Steam Cloud and My Documents are safe.

It will keep the save games stored in my documents.

As I thought.

Your saves and configs are not touched by the delete content function (be it My Doc's, The cloud or the game dir itself).

Hey, what if I uninstall Steam... Will saved games/settings in My Documents still be ok? I'm planning to move Steam to another drive, so I'll back up SteamApps, uninstall Steam, reinstall Steam. But if uninstalling Steam completely uninstalls the games, SteamApps won't be enough....

Giving to your other (bigger) partition (or HD) a drive letter what is now Steam running on is easier IMO (just 1-2 click). So you move all your steam folder to the new place and change the partition letters in Windows. Don't need to reinstall Steam, and nothing else to do.

I'm not going to do that just for steam though. I wanna keep Windows on the same C: drive, but move Steam over to the new D: drive.

Oh... right in your case when Steam is installed to C: it's not a solution.

[Btw who the hell is installing Steam to C:   ]
