Steam is not letting me buy L4D 4-pack

Bought L4D yesterday to try it out. Liked it. Want to buy the 4-pack (as gifts!) now that it's $22.50. Unfortunately, it's not letting me buy it because I already own L4D! I can't buy it "for myself" because I already own it, and I can't buy it "as a gift" because L4D 4-pack prevents it.

There's only an hour left for the deal, so I doubt I'll get this resolved in time, but I want to time-stamp this and hopefully, Valve will find a way to honor the 4-pack $22.50 deal later when we do get to customer support.

4 packs are only possible when the buyer doesn't already own the game. That is nothing new. It was always that way.

Advice that you'd better grab some L4D for your friends (if that was your intention) right now.
