CPU not recognized

Well I replaced the motherboard of a HP laptop with the infamous G86 failure.

Everything works now and is detected except the CPU.

The CPU was taken from the old motherboard and put into the new motherboard. It's a Core 2 Duo T5450.

The problem is that now it shows up as a Intel Celeron M 550...

How can I fix this?

Btw the laptop is a HP DV6775US.

hmm... its possible the motherboard needs a BIOS update for CPU compatibility, i guess just goto the motherboards website and see what they have for BIOS updates, or atleast see what version your motherboard is running on and make sure that its compatible with that CPU.
