Im willing to buy this game, well its not really a game as such, but still im willing to spend money on it as a lot of work and effort as gone into making The Graveyard.
Personally I just don't think its worth the £3.54 (british pounds) asking price. I was hoping it would be on sale for at least 60% off.
Im just hoping someday valve will put it up for sale:)

Lot of work and effort has gone into making The Graveyard?
Yeah, I make jokes like that one too :)
Anyways, sadly, it's not up to Valve which games will be put on sale, so unless The Graveyard developers tell them to, there will be no sale.

It seems remarkably greedy to put a $5 price on something like this. Even if you argue for the beauty of art, I can't see how that justifies the price. I don't have to pay 5 dollars to read good poetry (Shakespeare, Yeats, Byron, etc) which, I think, is vastly more beautiful than this game.
And although not the same in terms of genre, the numerous user-generated mods for Half Life 2 are released for FREE, and have quite literally 10 times more enjoyment and gameplay than The Graveyard can offer. While still interesting, I just can't see why they could expect to charge money for this, let alone 5 dollars.

You pay $4.99 to watch someone die.

The creators did this as a form of experiment. Something like, "Would people really pay to watch someone die?"

Argue if you want, but this "game" or "art" is a perfect example that every ♥♥♥♥ can be sold on Steam.
I actually thought all games are "screened" first to prevent the store from being flooded with shovelware and/or games of "Big Rigs" level of quality (not that this is as bad as Big Rigs, there just isn't enough substance for it to constitute a game at all but a tech demo).

I like this Game. I really do.
I Judge a Game by the work that went into it.
You can check. I bought it. I am Happy with my Purchase.
One Question though - Nobody that I can find has addressed it...
To Exit the Game, she has to walk out? Right?
Then when she does Die? You have to Ctrl/Alt/Delete
to force the Game to exit? Is there another way to exit?
Thanks. The Graphics are awesome. The Song is Great.
Just add a "Quick Exit" Key for when she Dies.

Just ALT-F4 and it'll close the window.
It's actually one of the things I like about the game, being dead you can't exit the game because you're dead and can't take any action whatsoever.
This game does seem very underappreciated, it's never the same walk towards the bench as the last time, the sounds you hear, the clouds in the sky, the birds flying, it's all random just like when you die, if you die at all.
It's not Halo, if you came looking for action and a thrilling story you're in the wrong place.
I do like this "game" if only because it's different from what most people would consider a game.
I'd only want to add the possibility of dying before you sit down or as you're walking back

Lets go back to the basics.
What is a game? The most fundamental concept of a game involves outcomes, chances, probabilities, winning and loosing. I won't go into the details and these basically sums it up.
But then, for this game, where are all these? I don't see any probabilities, any chances that may occur within the game. Either you walk in and out, or you pay your 5 buck and die half way. End of story. The only thing that might differ between each play is that you might go off course while controlling the movements with wasd. Thats it.
Well, I personally don't like the idea that this game cost $. There are a lot of free MMO and games of all sorts around (those legal ones), and many of them are much more sophisticated than just walking around and dropping dead. Even "the endless forest", from the same devs, are much better than this graveyard thingy here. This is a materialized world, and if you want us pay for something, you have to prove its worth. And if you want to develop something under the name of arts, make it free and make donation an option. Its either or, and "random death" is definitely not appealing at all. Get real.

I think the price has some Greed, yes... and everything is "game art" today, even Halo. Ok the "game" is nice, has a message... and the price is just for the copyrights for the song I guess.
I like the "indie scene" because they can do amazing things with a few resources and... there's a lot of things in this game that I don't like and get surprised when my friend said he payed $5 for it.
I'm not trying to "troll" or this sort of thing, Tale of Tales is a interesting developer and here:

Some good games from the same company, The Path is great in my opinion and worth the price.

Well, it's cheaper and better than all the DLC's of CoD.
