Alright, so I have a Cooler Master Mystique 632 case. It has a front panel LED that lights up (and does nothing else, just an LED). I followed the cable from the light and plugged it into a fan connector (which is what it plugs into).

Sadly, it flat-out doesn't work. The guy who originally bought it said the light's worked fine for him. I've tried two different fan connectors with no luck. I've got an EVGA P55 LE mobo. Anything else you need, just ask. Thanks!

Maybe it isn't detecting a fan? Try plugging a fan into one of those ports and report what happens.

I'll have to try that in a moment. I'll report back...

If you have a DVM, I would check for continuity on the cable going to the LED first. Since LEDs are polarity sensitive, reading continuity with one polarity will show an open circuit and the other polarity will show a short circuit. If the cable and LED check OK, then it may be the connection on the other end that you're plugging it into. LEDs aren't very difficult to troubleshoot, but you do need a DVM.
