Now, i've never known, noticed, or cared about 16-32-64bit whatever in games. To be honest, it usually doesnt mean anything substantial.
ZOMG Nintendo 64, it has like, 4 times the bits!

However, after seeing this game on my own monitor, and especially with that sleek smooth organic-looking pinkish arrow-shaped alien ship.. Just.. Wow..

The way that light and the HDR interacts on the surface of that ship (and with the nebula backgrounds), is the most amazing HDR or lighting effects period, i've ever seen in ANY game. By far.
It almost looks like real-time sub-surface scattering. ♥♥♥♥ing amazing.

Too bad the gameplay of this game itself is almost nonexistant :)
Maby they can use this graphics engine for a new game.

If I put on HDR my FPS goes down to 20 >< and I got a high end pc lol...
Even during benchmarks my fps goes to 120 ( max for my LCD ) but ingame it is 60.. very odd. (without HDR )

The graphics in this game are pretty good for the production costs, but certainly not the best. If you're into space-types, you should take a look at the newest revisions of EVE online -- speaking solely on visuals, they're substantially better. This is great for an indie though.
