I know I would. And no, i'm not talking about an emulator because the roms are usually so buggy that they require an exterminator.
Anyone else?
(yes I put this in the SF4 forum because I think they are closely related)

He is saying that in his experience, MvC2 runs nicely on an emulator.
Back on topic, I wouldn't mind seeing it. Can't say I buy it myself since the only way I can describe it is "a bunch of flashing colors and someone dies," but I think more fighters on the PC is a good thing.

Most people would have no idea how to play MvC2... even more so than SF4. All you'd see is Iron Man/Iron Man/Iron Man and Sentinel/Sentinel/Sentinel.

Love to see it, would get it if I could. Suppose I'll have to settle for Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
Maybe if they try to actually balance it I'll play it. Tired of fighting Magnetos.

I'm more of a geek than a nerd, get it right!
Besides... the whole nerd thing went away in like 2004 when it became cool to be smart lol...

I've never had problems playing it on a MAME emulator, but if it was released on Steam I would definitely buy it.
If they did do a PC release, they would probably just run it with MAME anyways. It's easier than porting it. A lot of games on steam already use DOSbox.

It won't happen. Unless disney got off its high horse and let steam sell it. This is why the newest capcom vs game is against tatsunoko. Marvel is owned by disney, and wont let any more games be made.

Disney owns Marvel, but I don't think they've taken over Marvel's business of licensing their properties. It's very unlikely that they'd be against licensing the game if they thought it would bring in enough royalties. Piracy probably scares them too much to greenlight such a project.
Due to the very successful release of HD Remix and SFIV, along with Tekken and Soul Calibur, fighting games have done a bit better in proving themselves to be above their regular hardly-profitable niche-dom. With Marvel decimating HDR in terms of sales, Marvel Inc. might take a second look at continuing the series with a MvC3, as Capcom said a new Vs game may be on the development horizon last week in an interview.
I highly doubt we'd get a PC Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, seeing as how it's already widely pirated. Who knows what Capcom'll do with later releases. I think it may come down to if SSFIV gets a PC release, and how well it does if it does gets released.

Wait what? Since when has MvC2 been emulatable by MAME?

ug! forgot all about that. I HATE when people dilly dally in the charcter select screen because of that. Just pick cyclops, sentinal and storm and lets get this over with! Also I found that if you take a rolling pin and roll it over all the buttons as fast as you can you will win every match.

MvC2? I'd rather have SF2: HDRemix, SF3: Third Strike or SFA3.
