Its a gamers keyboard.. has LCD monitor on top of it to display information like framerate and ammo left or K : D ratio etc. whatever information the developers will let the software for the G15/19 read. They haven't said anything about what it will display besides that it does support it.

The keyboards also have aton of extra buttons on the left for macros. Not that I've ever found a need for macros in any game.

Every button on that is tiny LED screen and you can change the icon on any button to whatever you want and they're all reprogrammable. So if you use 'C' to talk when you get in a game it'll change 'C' to a Voice icon..

And it'll only cost you more then your entire PC setup probably cost you.

When I played BF2142 with my G15 the LCD showed all sorts of great info, server scores, my score, health, ammo, and I could hit over to see another screen with more information. I don't remember the exact info shown, but there is a surprising amount of info shown.

All sorts of great info? You mean like the type of info typically displayed on your monitor? Having the info down there on a keyboard is pointless IMO. Reminds of the DS, it's just annoying looking at the bottom screen for something you need a quick reference to.

I build a profile..(G4=W, g11=s...and so on)
I said this profile has to start when BFBC2 does.

But in the end only the LCD monitor works, not the Gamepad.

I cnat cope with normal keybord, Im totally used to play with G13 keybord now. My fingers wont find the right key and I act like a noob, Thats real bad and an issue for me...

YES SIR, that would be nice/helpfull...

only things that I can find on the internetz is what surplus functions G19/G15 with BFBC2 has. as we speak, Im not sure if it is a general problem or if only me is affected.my g13 still works nice on every other game I play...

the idea is fine, but i couldn't use that for gaming. I need to feel the keys.

guessing you have to push down on the area for the key to work? because i often have my fingers on keys when playing but don't constantly want them pressed.

If it shows THIS info, that's all useful stuff to display. I was wondering the point of this kind of keyboard if it just showed your score and ammo, stuff readily available on the screen you're currently looking at, rather than one that would take your attention away. I'd like the idea of the server info and unlock progress though.

Not that I can ever give up my Merc Zboard.

The first gen G11 had an LCD screen that folded down, with the blue backlighting. The G15 switched to orange backlighing and built in the LCD. If you're looking for the newest logitch keyboard, the G19 looks cool, but way way way overpriced. They also released a lower cost model without the screen thats pretty sick, i think its the G110 or something (they replaced the G5 mouse with a G500 as well). I never cared much about seeing stats on my keyboard, and wouldn't be able to see it anyways because my desk will block it. I have a G11 now, and it is pretty awesome. I'd like to upgrade to the G110 as it looks a little smaller, but i'll wait till my G11 breaks.

Thats right, i was trying to get in on the G15 v1 and they told me it was discontinued but they hadn't changed the photo of it yet (prolly about a year ago). Its shaped more like a G11 than a G15 IMO though. The LCD would have been nice, but not very functional for me personally. Thats why i'd take the G110 over the G19.

I'd tend to agree ($179-199) is a bit much to pay for a keyboard considering it adds an LCD screen and $120 to this one:

I use the G13 and it displays some nice info that you would have to go into the menus to see, such as kills/deaths/KD ratio. Plus it displays ping, number of active players, leveling progression for each class, etc.
