This happened while using the latest version of Stalker Complete. I've played through the game a dozen times before, so I'm familiar with both the vanilla and modded versions of the game.

I finished the main game yesterday, and opted to continue playing in freeplay mode. I had a bunch of stash locations marked, so I wanted to clean them out and mess around in the Zone for a while longer. Anyway, one stash was in the X16 lab under Yantar. I climbed down the elevator shaft, dealt with the snorks, and... couldn't go any further. A steel grate had closed at the far end of the first room (the one with the walkway, spinning light near the back, bathroom off to the left), shutting me in. And since you can't climb back up the shaft, I'm stuck. The funny thing is, I get a "Press <F> to close door" message when I stand next to the grate - which is obviously already closed. I can load up the autosave from the beginning of the level and turn around and leave, so I'm not stuck for good, but still...

A couple other things I noticed in my playthrough:

The automatic shotguns were noticeably weaker than the "cheap" shotguns used early in the game. I could unload the Remington and Winchester right at a mutant, and they'd still be alive, while two hits from the sawed-off or one from the hunting rifle would put the same snork down. When I was using a modded automatic shotgun I looted from a victim in the Army Warehouses, I honestly thought that it wasn't shooting any bullets at all, just making "bang" noises. It didn't seem to be an aiming issue. I'd get the same results even when aiming down the barrel by right-clicking.

Speaking of which, automatic shotguns and shotgun ammo were incredibly rare. I hardly ever saw them for sale at any of the traders, either. This might be a side-effect of the way that the mod seems to tailor what weapons NPCs are using based on your own weapon preferences, which makes it more likely that they'll be using the same type of ammo as you. It's good for ammo looting, but if you aren't using a shotgun because you can't find one, NPCs aren't going to be using them, either.

Suicidal A.I. pathfinding: The most noticeable case was in the street in Pripyat to the west of the Monolith building, the one with the whirligig anomaly. NPCs would actively aim for it. The ones who didn't walk into it and die the first time would stop, turn around, and try again. In an afternoon playing that map, I saw only one stalker survive out of a dozen groups that walked down that street. It's handy for weapons looting and amusing screengrabs, but not very realistic.

The night sky: It looks like a flat, B&W image. Out away from city lights, the night sky has a lot more color than this, and the Milky Way really ought to be visible. There's a weather mod that had a beautiful night sky map, but I can't remember the name off the top of my head. Your moon is better, though.

Dirty scopes: The scope on the FN2000 was so bad that I'd have to zoom out to get a clear look at my target.

Aside from the first issue, which is a game-stopper, these are just minor quibbles. This mod made my favorite game even better. Thanks for all the hard work.

Thank you for valuable feedback. If door bug is present, the work around would be using ESC+J shortcut to jump to a different point.

I've really enjoyed the Stalker Complete mod (v1.4.4) and have found it to be very stable, especially after a fresh install. :-)

I've encountered an unusual situation in the X16 mission. I've made it to the Psy room where one has to activate the four switches in less than 4 minute. Well, I hover and move all around the first lever, but can't get the "F" message for activating the switch. I've tried moving my pointer all over the switch, putting away my weapon, going to the other switches, etc. It's as if I'm looking at a wall or into space. I've tried exiting completely out of the game, and restarting, but still the same behaviour.

This is my third time playing through the entire Stalker SoC game, but my first time encountering this type of issue. I'm at a loss as to what to do if I can't move those dang levers. Thanks to anyone for any insights!
