I can't seem to retrieve the master server list for dmc. =(

Is there a guide to running DMC? I am attempting to host using Windows Vista 64. I can enter a game setup as LAN from within my LAN but my friends can't join from outside regardless of whether I have it set to Internet or LAN and I can't join using the external IP when I set it to Internet.

Surely DMC can work better than this? I realise probably no-one plays it but we quite fancied some retro-gaming so we thought we would try it. Unfortunately, it appears to be so retro that it doesn't benefit from any modern technology that would allow it to actually be worth playing :(
