View Full Version : Spore Problem (Srs Bizniss)

When I start up Spore Galactic Adventures (with Creepy and Cute added), it starts up, but it's just a black screen (windowed). Awhile back, the same thing happened, but last time it actually started up eventually. It does this every single time, and I don't know what to do! Can anyone help me?

Same problem with black screen, except it's crashing the game going from the creator to the next stage. Whoop, I feel your pain.

Just got off EA's wonderful live chat where the guy told me to do a full reinstall. Yeaaaah... not gonna happen.

Dude, try this: right click on spore > properties > local files tab > verify integrity of game cache

See if that works for you.

See if that works for you.

Note that "Verify integrity of game cache" is there specifically to save you reinstalling the whole thing. It looks for borked files and replaces them, fixing the app in the process.

Well, something like that at least :D
