BS2 keeps exiting to windows

When I run it it goes ingame and than exits to the desktop, why?

i cant play

basicly i only see the other window with text "bat filee"

can anyone help

happens on Windows Vista and 7 32/64 bit

Looks like you're getting the same problem I have... basically, it keeps jumping out of the game to show the scummvm backend window whenever it shows any output...

didn't spent long trying to fix it though because if you go the game directory in the steamapps common folder, you can run scummvm directly from there and load it from scummvm instead of steam...

finished the game that way myself.
