crashing waaay too often :(

1st of all, great game, loads of fun for a few quid.

the down side being it crashes either to desk top or freezes and requires a reboot way too often :(

it only happens when the game loads a level. been playing for 3-4hrs and its crashed 5-6 times today :(

any1 else have this problem?

i run a core i7 with 260nvidia card on windows xp

any suggestions ?

I have an old ♥♥♥ processor and vid card.
The only difference I see is that I run a newer OS.
Maybe re-install it.

Win XP here.

It hasn't crashed in-game for me, but almost every time I exit it'll hang at the loading screen. It requires a restart because alt-tabbing only flashes my desktop for a second.

Maybe I'll save, then alt-tab out the ctrl-alt-del end the process.

I have Win 7 and I have get no crashes so it might be the graphics card.

The other thread also mentions such issues, again an Nvidia card. Maybe that is actually the issue.

I played the Overlord II demo on a ATi HD5800, Win7Pro 64Bit, i7 920, without any problems. Still need to launch the full game though.
