Problem with letters in COD MW2

Hi all! I have a big problem with the game COD MW2. I have just purshased this game on steam store. The download went well. But when I start the game, I can't read anything. All letters in the game are not showing correctly. It's unreadable. In game, I can see people correcly and I can play, but again, I cannot see any letters in game, any options or anything. I can't see people names or anything that requires reading because letters doesnt show, it's like a glitch or something. All the game is like this, even the strart screen. I reinstalled the game and I have the same problem, nothing has changed. Please help me. Thank you.

ALl I can think of is to check the settings under your advanced video option to see what screen size you're running ... I think there should be a auto setting that adjust to your current monitor settings

I think it has to do with video cards not supporting Shader Model 3.0

I think it has to do with video cards not supporting Shader Model 3.0If it was that the game wouldn't even start trust me.I sent in my messed up GPU to get it replaced and I tried playing with with an older one I had and it gave me some dumb error.

OP, what language is windows set for? What language or region is MW2 set for?

the same thing happened to me i just changed my vid card from nvidia to ati every other game works fine but mw2 the lettes are all colored and unreadable

I had a friend with the same exact problem.
You need to get older drivers for your graphics card.
I think it was the 9.** that worked for him.
Check it.
I am talking about ATI cards, since they are the ones that mostly get this issue.
