can't play with any of my friends

When we try it doesn't work if i host or they host always times out or can't connect to host. I wonder am i playing mw2 again? I even closed firewall and still nothing

When my game is timing out joining someone, it is best to restart the game. Failing that, I would forward the ports that are stickied in this forum and see if that works.

i had the same problem a while back, me and my mates now use gameranger, just make an account run the program someone make a room and gameranger does the rest for you we have never had a problme yet works like a charm

i tried that to no avail :( will try the port thing but i thought they fixed it

You can try a port tester to check if your ports are open:

They did fix the ports but it appears that some players have still had to forward them anyways.

No ,i have forward them ,but the problems is always here Xd But i can host before the update when i have the forwarded ports!

I know, it's getting really hard and annoying to play with friends, and in other hand i doubt K2 wants or cares to fix this.
