No sound

Has anyone else had a problem with no sound at all in game? Just bought the Gold version over the weekend, went to play and found no audio. Running Windows 7 x64, X-FI card with latest drivers, but no dice. Only thing even listed as an audio device in game is the Miles driver.

I have some sound, but the sound missing is the Acknowledge sounds, also only can choose Miles Driver.

I bought this when it first came to steam, only now just getting around to playing it.

I had the same problem to begin with. However after adjusting the files as posted in http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1167638 the sound came back. i dont always get unit acknowledgement tho, so i am still waiting to see a fix for that
