Just to go off topic for a second here, isnt that waht they did for Half Life 2? I mean this guy steals the beta, then posts the story on the internet. Nobody will buy it if its spoiled before it comes out, so they take 14 months to rewrite the story. Isnt that what happened?

also speaking of the Doug Rattmann info supplied by GI, that and all other info in the hist of AS is supllied by valve to GI. the emails seem to be looped by a comp whenever it has things like "gordon + cascade + when + happen" in it. i think all that info is TRUE that GI gave us, cuz someone else asked a while ago from b4 the GI article and got the same answer, wording and all. like not kidding the exact same words in the exact order.
