Where is the M1 garrand?

You know the one for registering on BF veteran in my list it says its unlocked but i cant get it ingame im confused is it just single player or what if yes than thats just stuipid.

I think EA is having some problems with their veteran unlocks being registered on the servers. Many on the official forums have said they cannot get the Garand either.

Personally I haven't been able to use it since the first night (and even then it wasn't in any good servers). And it's a shame it's not available. It's a sniper rifle for every class (same damage).

Yeah I got about a half hour play with it and it was gone. I haven't seen any official word spoken about it but everyone seems to say EA removed it because it was botched somehow.

Unless there was some small print saying "M1 Garand availible to all veterans. (launch day only)."

I don't think we would be surprised if that turned out to be true though :p

In the mean time if anyone spots an M1 Garand circa WW2 in their game of Bad Company 2 don't hesitate to alert the forums. :p

I heard it's not that great anyway...any truth to that? I like my M60 most of the time anyway.

Yeah it's not anything special, without hitting them straight in the head it seemed to take a large number of rounds to bring them down, only used it for that short period though.

I'd say I'll end up only using it in hardcore mode.

I was very very very drunk when I got to play with my m1 Garand that one match... :( Pity, I remember having a hell of a lot of fun even though I missed 90% of the time at point blank... Reminded me of the first Call of Duty on Omaha beach(Or was it another game...)

It's pretty weak they removed it from accounts that were able to get it working. I tried the m14 but it didn't fill the void the using that m11 for those first few days of play.

In hardcore mode it can be a 1 shot kill, in regular mode 3-4
