Confirmed by Shacknews (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/62689). TAG: The Power of Paint was their last year project at Digipen. Just like Narbacular Drop. The gameplay of The Power of Paint involve splashing paint of various colors to change the physical properties of objects, just like a new feature in Portal 2.

Good. After I read they were using liquids that change the surface physics I thought they stole the mechanic from TAG. Then after thinking about it more it just made sense for valve to hire the team. Glad to hear that they did in fact hire them.

amazing news. TAG is a great game and a breath of a fresh air like Narbacular Drop.

I played it today - it's so short! Incredibly fun though. Blue paint is disorienting. :P

Say, does anybody know where to get level editing software for TAG? It would be awesome to make my own levels.

I was in the same graduating class at DigiPen as those guys. Didn't really know them too well but congrats to them. :-)
Meanwhile I work minimum wage part-time retail.

wow ... I just played through TAG and it was incredible!
I cannot wait to see how they are going to implement this physics paint into Portal 2

Boo! Don't worry, your day will still come :) Here's hoping you get hired by Valve one day too!
