E8400 is pretty good for this game especially if you overclock it I did so to 3.33GHz and saw an increase of around 15FPS in most cases. I wil try 3.6 to see if it helps even more.
Is there a way of recording demos for bencharking?

yeah my pc runs this game so nicely. Loving the graphics and just all the stuff going on around you, so cool.
Some of the noises stuff makes when it falls etc are incredible, still find myself looking at the stuff going on and forgettin to play :D

No I'm not taking drugs, I placed my BC2 game case on my desk near the keyboard, and one day when I was playing it, my game case all of a sudden kept poking at me, and I said "wtf do you want?" And that's when he whispered the quad core thing to me.

He told me the reason he's whispering is that he doesnt want other people in the house to hear him talking because otherwise people would find out that game cases are actually living beings and they like to move at night!

There is actually a "psst" sound in game. When your health reach maximum it makes that noise.

Don't buy a quad for this game. I have a quad, and I noticed something: This game only uses one core. Think I'm lying to you? Open the task manager the next time you play, look at your core usage. One core will be at 100%, the other three will be at %20.

Very, VERY poor multi-threading support. Buying a quad for this game would be a mistake if you can overclock that 8400 (which I know you can).

Listen to your 8400, not the game. :)

Hmm I've got a E8500 @ 3.16, and a asus 9800GT ultimate and the game definitely does not run smooth as butter all the time. i run mostly medium, shadows low, and it still Isn't smooth :( I would overclock, but my CPU already gets to 75-80*C when i play so its probably not a good idea...
