actually, if your not bad at this game, snipers are only an inconvenience. most of them cant aim for ♥♥♥♥ and dont have anyone watching their flank.

I would agree that most snipers I've come up against in this game so far suck, I'm quite good at sniper on this and usually it's not a good class for me. I tend to stay away from it though as sniping bores the hell out of me. On the topic of bad snipers though I did, the other day, get sniped out of a helicopter which surprised the crap out of me. XD

I played the recon class to start with to get a feel for the maps, it was good fun moving forward spotting for the team and calling in m-strikes on the m-com stations. But the funniest thing is when you get that other sniper in your sights and you see him do the same and both fire and both die lol!

But now im trying to learn assault which i find is pretty tough :(

OT: i do miss prone, but on these maps it would be too OP for any class as you would then get the dolphin droppers showing up and never be able to spot the snipers

Yeah I've done that with another sniper lol. It balances the sniper out a bit I suppose due to no prone. They're infinitely more spottable, add the fact that you can blow up their cover and snipers are no longer, on the whole, invincible annoying bastards.

True though it may be, even rambo would be shooting airplanes after about 15 rounds. I was a Marine grunt when the M249 was first issued, and I was one of the first jarheads in 2/9 to be issued one. I am 6-4, and back then I weighed about 235-240...and that thing was still a handful even for my big ♥♥♥, from the offhand position.

Prone, however, it was magical :D

I rarely snipe and I wish there was prone, it's something I'm used to having, and it was in all the other BF games. I actually die frequently because I can't get low enough behind cover even when I'm running all over the place, so if this topic is being brought up daily it's with good reason. I just hope people can mod it and give us prone A.S.A.P.
