CTD/Program not responding in single player

Hello,

I have tried searching through other posts and trying one or two things suggested but nothing seems to be working thus far. The problem is i just can't play the game properly, it will run fine for a few minutes at a time then just either CTD or comes up with the windows vista "The program has stopped working" error, up until the point of CTD the game runs fine. I am running the game on low settings at 1024 x 769 and here is my laptop spec:

CPU: Intel Core 2 duo T9500 @ 2.6 GHz
OS: Vista Home 64 bit
Graphics card: Duel NVIDIA GeForce 8700 GT
Sound (as i know this has been an issue in certain circumstances with this game): Sigmatel HD audio codecs.

Any help/suggestions would be appriciated, thanks.

No suggestions? Just to clarify this is in BFBC2, the only other information i can suggest is it is NOT a dust issue as im on a laptop and beyond that i am not sure, it can crash on cut scenes or during gameplay and seems to almost be at random intervals but i can never play for longer than 5 mins.

Well yes they can but its less likely and ive checked the temps anyway, they are fine.
