Since Steam seems to roll everything up into just the RailSim entry in your games list, how can you check that you actually got the other DLC that was in the pack?
I can't figure out where to look for it - sorry.
(I bought this game, finally, because I got round to admitting that I like trainsims. Ever since I first played the old wireframe "Brighton Belle" game on my speccie back in 1984-ish :D
I tried Trainz first, for my grandson naturally *coughs* but since I played it more than him, I guess it was time to admit my addiction...)

Welcome to the wonderful world of RailWorks.
When you first launch RailWorks, click on the Package Manager tab and you should see a list of installed routes and addons.
Sometimes just after having a new route or addon installed, it's also good to go to the "Tools & Docs" tab and use the Clear Blueprint Cache button.
When playing RailWorks, you should see a list of your routes and also list of scenarios associated with a route if you click on it.

Thank you - found them all just where you said they'd be - excellent!

For the Steam-based DLC, you should be able to right "click" on the game and "View Downloadable Content" And it should give a full list of everything available and what you have

Help! I bought Train Simulator 3 from Amazon. I have bought two DLCs from Steam - the Easter Special and Class 444. When I look in the Package Manager, they are there. When I look on my hard drive in the Steam folder I can find them also. But when I run the game they are not there. Everywhere I look Steam tells me I have them - they are just not there when I play. I have cleared the Blueprint cache as suggested and I have done everything else suggested but still no joy.
What am I doing wrong?

Mikey those 2 DLC require two seperate routes that are also dlc. The Easter special I believe requires the Woodhead route. Class 444 requires Portsmouth Direct Line.
However with class 444 you could just use the editor to put it in one of the existing routes, by creating your own free roam, but you won't have any scenarios.
Just go in the editor choose a route and new scenario. Once in the editor on the left panel in the middle box there's a blue box, which i think is called enable assets. Click on that the panel on the right will give a list of developers. My guess for class 444 is the obvious RSC developer and it should read on the new list on right panel Class 444 add on pack. However I'm guessing on that as I don't have class 444 myself.

Read before you buy! The Class 444 has a text on it's store page:
IMPORTANT NOTE: This train pack requires the Portsmouth Direct Line-Addon (available seperately)!
I'm sorry to say it, but it's your own fault not informing yourself before the purchase. You still can use the locomotive on other electrified routes in your own scenarios though.
