After 5 months,

when is VAC and STEAMN going to sort out the cheats?

its becomming ridiculous for a game that was advertised as being played the way activision wanted it and cheat free.

its full of cheats and eveyone blames each other for the cause.

Vac was employed as the anti cheat measure and it is ♥♥♥♥

VAC was never meant to stop the cheaters completely. It was there to help the admins in one way. Admin bans the users and then VAC bans it some time later.

The delay could be anywhere a few days to some weeks. 3 at most I'm betting.

VAC is also completely automated. Unlike PB it doesn't kick people. It just bans cheaters and cheaters only.

From a personal viewpoint. This is IW fault. They knew how it worked. But they decided to remove admins and vote kick and this is what we got.

When was the last time you encountered a cheat in TF2?
I have NEVER, in over two years of playing, seen any kind of cheat in that game. I heard my friend say he once saw a pyro with scout running speed, but he was banned from the SERVER within a few minutes.
So come on... tell me that there are AS MANY cheats in any other online game released in the last 5 years as there are in this peice of trash.

So. If you dont want to play with cheaters, there is only one way, VAC as I understand don't ban anyone and useless. If you see what someone cheat, write down his nick on paper for example, and if you see his nick on lobby just quit, and find another lobby. Its only way to do not play with cheaters.

Simple, but actually I dont pay my money to play with cheaters.

im sick of joining a lobby and having 15 hackers on in the server at once, man when will they fix this, so many wall's and aimbots jeez, don't forget about the g18 hacks, there's no way you can get shot across the map with them and the knife hacks don't even get me started

I guess everyone thinks the hackers are stupid... Everytime a door for hacking is closed they find a new way. But hopefully they will get banned and have to buy another cd key... Its more the pirating, key generators, and such that will keep them coming back. Find a way to close that and the cheats will drop off considerably.

Either you guys have really bad luck, or are exaggerating the times you do get hacker games. On my days off I play 12+ hours when I have nothing to do and only run into a hacker once every few hours, and if I do I just click Leave Game.

It's not that hard, don't be a masochist and stay in the game with the hacker just because you think you have a chance at getting a payback kill.

Exactly the same with me. I think what's happening is they think anyone able to run up a large score is a cheater. Most of these "cheaters" are just people who are way better than them. On some maps like Estate and Afghan I can run up huge scores. I play with a group of friends most nights and we all laugh at the number of times I get called a hacker.

As you said, I've run into aimbots/wallhacks as well, but it's fairly uncommon. When it does happen I just leave the game if we're losing. Although me and my friends have played against some terrible aimbots before and still manage to win some domination games.

Joined 2 games in a row with multiple wall-hackers on the enemy team and then later joined a game with all 6 members of the enemy team using blatant wall-hacks and aimbots. I also got put in the same game as them 3 times again after quitting the game for a couple of hours.

Same here. While I don't play long sessions, I do play pretty much daily. I might see a hacker here and there but otherwise, not so much. If they are hacking, either they really suck at it or they hide it really well. The only time I assume someone is hacking is when killcam shows them following me behind a wall with their sights, since I use my ninja setup about 90% of the time.

The ones I am not sure about are those snipers that seem to be able to pull up the sights, fire, duck or move all within about a second and still get the kill. I just question how they can pinpoint people in less than a second and have their sights right on them when they do. I dunno. Guess they're just good?

no freakin way man i dont believe it for a minute, like the other ppl posting above you maybe run into a hacker once every few hours, i play 3-4 hours a night and double on weekends and hardly ever see them

my friend uses the fast reload pro perk, i forget the name but he can quick scope like a son of a gun. thats probaly what your seeing

So learn to play with em or do what I do and leave and find another lobby
It's to easy to find another game than get frustrated over some ashl who's running a cheat
Once you do find a lobby with out cheats enjoy it while it last

Oh and when you find a lobby that dont have a cheat let me know I'll come join ya

There is nothing being done about cheaters. Accept it, leave the game and try to find another lobby.
