Help me boys,

I brought the game in pre-order, but there is nothing showing me about the three maps. Anyone know everything about this?

I'm not 100% sure because i didn't buy the special edition, but i think you need to be past at least sequence 5 before the new maps are accessible.

those maps are the templar treasures and will be accessed when you can see a templar mark at the radar, they also tell you that there are one nearby, so if youre supposed to have them you do.

So there's no list of installed/active DLC? I bought the DDE and I'm not sure if I have to activate my content or not.

All the content is already included in the download. The cd-key you use for registering will decide whether you can access the three Templar Lairs or not ...

When exactly do the Templar Lairs pop up? I am now at the point where the Assassin Tombs are available, but nothing has said anything about Templars yet.

I have the US retail edition btw, the only one available here, and it says "exclusive maps" but I have no idea if I have these or not.

I think the first one was available at the end of sequence 5 ... or it may have been some way through ...

As I have said elsewhere, I hope that Ubisoft will make the Templar lairs available on Uplay for people who purchased the normal edition on Uplay and wouldn't mind paying for them if the price is right.

i tried to get my hands on the limited black edition but was too late, but I think it's a little too much to buy the whole game again just for 3 maps.

Ps. Yes I'm aware that the maps are available on steam but that will also require me to buy the whole game again, but I really would like to be able to complete the game 100% :)

Well I am not that far yet, just got to sequence 5.

I will not cry if I don't have them, I just think it's a little crappy that if the normal edition does not have them then there was no way to get them at US retail.

It was never available in the US, only Europe.

according to the wiki, the retail version contains 2 of the DLC missions but not the Templar dungeons from Pre-order. Since you did pre-order you should already have all the same extras as we got from steam.

Well, I have the retail pre-order only including arsenal shipwright, which was available pretty late (sequence 9 or 10 I think). So you shouldn't worry if you are early in the game.
