I was wondering why it was taking so long to download - then I looked at the handy new download meter and it's 2,699MB!

I really do wonder how a patch which adds a few new maps and units ended up being over 2 and a half GB.

[Edit] I see also that there's now the ability to play against Chaos Rising players. I suppose that means all the content from Chaos Rising would have to be added so that the games would work together..
But still - 2.7GB!

both games will be the almost the same download

i own both and when I had to install chaos rising it was a 2 meg download.

I have this very same problem... except it downloaded 4gb and still didn't update the damn game :( (continued downloading the next morning).

Wouldn't be a problem but it has used up our internet for the month! Thankyou STEAM, you guys are legendary.

Are you guys able to download it unmetered? I live in AUS so I dont know how it works for you guys guessing it would be the same but I just downloaded Frey's Steam Filter and set the ISP to what I wanted it to be and downloaded this game and the updates with no problem and no use of my bandwith.
