I bought painting before I went to the mansion - did I just waste my money?

So I bought 5 paintings BEFORE I was introduced to that big mansion by Mario.


Did I just waste my florins/money?
What was the point of my purchasing the paintings?

I went up into the attic and I found paintings of the deceased.. but the ones I bought were actual art paintings.

Don't worry about money in this game, there is just too much extra when u finish the game. I just hope there will be a new Villa DLC to spend more money on. As soon as you upgrade all your properties on your Villa, your set for the rest of the game >_O

Paintings are all over your mansion, almost all I think is in the second floor. Climb the Hall stairs and go to the Left room, which is your Art Gallery.

money flows like water in this game so don't worry about that. But they should appear in your art gallery on the second floor.
