Hi guys has anyone ever had this bug where light sources would shine through walls and people?

You sure it's from the rack behind you? I always thought it was coming from the blinds in front of you.

God this bug is a ♥♥♥♥♥ it has annoyed me alot since i got the game

Nope its not from in front I moved the camera around and it matched the rack behind desmond =.=

I can't record a video of that at the moment as I am in the animus so this video was the best I could do

hope there is a fix because it gets annoying when guards are completely white when fighting them >.<

Well i've seen that happen to Desmond when i'm in the "real world" but had no graphics glitches or bugs of any sort while in the animus.

It happens to me regardless of whether or not I'm in the animus >.<

Anyone found a fix to this? I experienced the problem the first time I started playing the game, and it was especially noticeable during the opening sequence before entering the Animus 2.0. I changed some graphics setting in the Nvidia CP that managed to fix the problem, but the issue has reappeared and it's really annoying.

I also have this problem with light sources showing through everything. I've discovered that disabling Multi-sampling in the games graphics options solves the see-through lighting problem but it also takes away all the light effects that are emitted from everything so its really not a fix and more like a work around. Not really sure what is causing this problem besides that. Hope some else has found an actual fix for this.

for the first few weeks i never had this problem. Turned on the gamer yesterday and now I have it. quite annoying.

I found out how to fix this problem.

I was reading on a tweaking website that said trying to force Assassin's Creed 2 graphical settings through the nvidia control panel is a bad idea because this causes causes some graphical and performance issues.

After reading that I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel and selected the "Adjust image settings with preview" option and then selected the "Let the 3D application decide". This fixed my lighting issue and light sources DO NOT shine through everything now.

Forcing AA or AF through the nvidia control panel causes this bug.
