Erik Wolpaw: We've cast some actors that I don’t think we’re ready to talk about who yet, but we’re excited to think about the character voices in terms of who’s actually going to be doing those voices. It's always kind of fun when you're thinking about these twists and turns and then imaging what it's going to be like for somebody to finally experience that.

Because Portal 2 is bigger and Valve is bigger, we can actually toss around real actors. Not that people in our games aren't real actors, but now we can dream up a cast.

So, Portal 2 is going to feature some "real actors" who's involvement has "excited" the writers, and who's appearance is meant to surprise us. You may begin your wild speculation.

It's cool that they are apparently able to pull in big talent now, but at the same time, it's nice to be exposed to voice actors that not many people know about

Morgan Freeman will obviously voice Gordon Freeman as he utters his last and only words before he dies.

This got me thinking, it'd be hilarious if the devs actually modeled and animated themselves for the commentary system. It'd be extremely cheesy, yeah, but that'd be the point.
