I use a Logitech dual action it works perfectly out of the box with Devil may cry 3 and Burnout paradise Etc. Basically acts like a dual-shock controller. For this the controller is supposed to act as a 360 one yet the buttons are int he wrong order and the stick is inverted. (for up and down)

For my first games for windows live game its giving me the most trouble ever; Not impressed. Seems like they didn't put much effort in to this port. Especially since you can't change options in game.

The stick is inverted no matter what I do. Tried a 360 controller emulator and downloading a config file I found on the logitech forums. I did one of these things wrong probably. Anyone else been dealing with this?
EDIT:
The config file seems to have worked :S
EDIT: It just doesnt change for the menus that is why I was confused. This is less then ideal but im really enjoying the main game now though.

i had the same problem, same controller, so I just decided to play the game with mouse + keyboard.

you'd think it would be really awkward playing a game like this with the KB+M, but i find the controls work very well.

I just used the Logitech Profiler free program and set it up so, that when playing this game the Y-axis is inverted.
Worked like a charm, and very easy to setup.
You can find Logitech Profiler on logitechs support pages.

I have a Logitech dual action but it seems that EVERY game that calls for a controller just works out of the box with the 360. I hated having to spend 30 minutes setting the Logitech up so I just broke down and bought the 360 controller and I don't regret it a bit. Even though I prefer the PS3 style of controller, the 360 style is pretty decent.
