Question about altair moves

So I'm a bit confused, it's been awhile since I played the first one so I may have forgotten some things

A) How do you use the double blade on two targets? It seems when there are two targets side-by-side, Altair only kills one. What am I doing wrong here?

B) To do the running kill with the hidden blade, do I need to lock on the target?

C) Why do I still get notoriety when I kill a guard without any witnesses?

B) not at all aslong as you can control ezio well because it seems to do a sort of "soft-lock" on the nearest target ?

You won't get notoriety if you kill them in low profile.

you can even kill them in plain view of other guards and gain no notoriety sometimes. It's not a perfect system.

If you hold the attack button, he does a high profile kill. Just press it once to do a low profile kill, and you won't get noticed.

double kills - make sure you're inbetween the people and not locked on to either one, then right before they push you away, hit the button. haven't quite figured out the double kills from above, its random for me.

You just need the 2 guards to be standing close and pounce down and it will kill them both. Takes some practice like the normal double kill but it is easy once you get used to it. Don't lock onto either one like ground double kills.

A) Don't lock on, face away from both, practice
B) Nope, I have never done it locked on
C) Notoriety system is weird, sometimes you get a major boost in it for killing one person, other times a lot.

i prefer the sprinting start, then when i get a half a leaps away from them, i hit the high profile attack whilst running still, and it does the auto leap and stabby thing .

if coming up to a doorway to either money chests or codex pages with 4 guards, climb the building without being seen, then climb down the face of it towards the guards until you get above the doorway. then, without targeting the guards and hanging there, hit the attack button, and ezio will auto drop and stab 2 guards, given u have the dual blades.

It's Italy. Ever heard of omerta? Well, some old people don't have anything to do except watching other people through their windows blinds. And some of them talk, even when they should not. Mostly because they hate hooligans killing people in the neighbourhood. But also because they are heavily supporting the Templars' agenda. If you press ALT+F4, you might be able to bribe them ( or not ) :)

Easiest way to avoid that - don't kill the guard. I hear holding down the power button does the same thing ;)

Follow it up with another dual stab in low profile if you're quick, and in high if you're slow. That's 4 dead guards in an instant.

No need to climb anything. Just walk up to the right/left 2 guards, stab them in the face, proceed between the other 2, stab those in the face as well, 4 dead guards in under 5 seconds.

yeah the trick, often, is to not lock on but use the soft lock to assassinate them quickly. Works more than half the time.
