If your hud is disabled, here is the current way to reenable.
We now know what disables the hud!
A developer flag was overlooked... d'oh! :( If you hold "H" and then press "U" it will disable the HUD. Now we know what's going on, at least. Easy fix. Thanks for the report mate.
and I can't reenable it...I did by hitting random keys...but then it went away when I was typing "ugh I disabled hud"
You should really not have disabling hud as something do able on the qwerty part of the keys...and put it on f12 or something.
I'm in a war game right now with one of the devs and I managed to build some turrets by using Q and guessing and then just lcicking....but I can't ASK him for help because I can't see text or know if I'm typing...I've probably sent a few messages consisting of "aAkjljf]}fj]]f}J}}J" trying ot get my hud back.
I have concluded that it is something I'm hitting while typing....related to the H key...as while attempting to talk to the dev to get him to come here and answer my topic I ended up reenabling it
then I tried to ask how to do it for future reference...it dissappeared.
My teammate appears to be doing surprisingly well considering I just have aobut 15 level 1 turrets built up around the end.
Okay, so breaking news, I reenabled it and it's something with typing HUD with shift...it doesn't do it every time, but some key probably H or U (for ui) along with shift enjoys screwing you over...
the dev *claimed* he didn't know the shortcut, but I bet he was lying so he could be victorious. Surely this was the case.
Either way, BEWARE OF TYPING.
