Weird Portal 2 Dream

Last night I had the weirdest dream about Portal 2. None of it really add up to the story and such of the real Portal 2, but it had some story element. It doesn't start off with portal as it happened in the middle
of my dream. Well... I guess I will tell it then.



We had a school trip that took place in some train yard. I looked for a few of my friends who kept
talking about fish. I ran away for a second and fell. I flew in the air
and landed on some huge truck. Some guy wouldn't stop talking about tuna and how much he loved it while he drive. Suddenly he said that now was the day his life changed about tune forever. A flashing picture of dancing shrimp appeared and dissapeard. I ran away back to
the train yard place. My friend runs up and hands me a case saying Portal 2 on it. He started screaming about how happy he was and he wanted to play co-op. It was for PC yet we still had split screen. We turned it on and the menu had some random test chamber with GLaDOS yelling about some Trojan while malfunctioning. I hit co-op as we began playing.


The robots come out of some pod on the wall (not a stasis pod) with a portal gun in their hand. GLaDOS begins to tell them to stop fighting (yeah I don't know) and to start the tests. The robots use little lifts instead of elevators to reach chambers appearantly. We somehow skip tons and reach chamber number 23 or something like that. GLaDOS begins to malfunction as sudden shaking begin to tear parts of the chamber apart. My speculation is this co-op mode took place at the same time Chell was killing GLaDOS in the first Portal. There are more reasons than that, that I will get to. The lift gets blocked by rubble as a wall falls away to a BTS area opens up. Suddenly my friend throws te remote contol and yells in my face, "HO PLAY SINGLE PLAYER! I QUIT!"

So I got mad and started single player, but it was only test chambers and GLaDOS talking about something I don't remember. Soon after I remember using the ASHPD to triple fling across a HUGE gap. Then GLaDOS laughed how I should not have trusted her again as she tries to kill me... And wins. I died and woke up.

This is nothing the game will be like, but a man can dream (literally) about it. I don't want it to turn out this way at least. It could be much better haha! I just liked hearing some made up quotes of GLaDOS from the dream. She malfunctioned way to much though. Appearantly she had a virus as she said Trojan on the main screen. Oh well I will probably never know unless I have the dream again.

Oh no someone call the cops! Trust me... I never have video game dreams unless it's in my mind really bad. Since I read the GI magazine it's been glued to my head. It will be gone in a few days though. Then I will be back to boring thoughts...:p

I had a dream that in portals 2 you portal right back to black messa where you started in hl1. In short you now alter the whole game this way and this whole mess never started... (but then what fun would that be) :D

I had two dreams involving portal-

1. There were these certain walls that you'd do one firm rub with your hand on. Whichever direction you'd rub, that's the direction the gravity would go.

2. I was Chell, testing and scared ♥♥♥♥less. In the dream, I had scientists following me, and I would constantly fall through gaps in the floor. I then had to solve a murder case.

I've had one where I fell into this pit thing, onto what appeared to be nets made of metal. I got off of them and heard GLaDOS somewhere and knew that I had to get the heck out of there. The area led to a tunnel, I snuck up through it and into a vent, and then came out into what appeared to be a sort of 'home entertainment test room' like you'd see in a store that sells high-end tv's and sound equipment. It was a big black room, but it also had a pimped out bed and a pimped out TURRET, there was much pink featherboa action. there was way more to it than that, but it was well over a year ago so I can't remember it off the top of my head. But a totally pimped out turret was hilarious.

I wish I could have a Portal dream. I did dream about swimming from a Combine wrecking ball and meeting Antlions on a platform however.

The first is an obvious subliminal reference to Mirror's edge 2D! Nah...

The second is like the story I have in my head about a theoretical physicist and her wicked, party-loving stepmother who looks like Lady Gaga, which is obviously a retelling of Portal without the AI part. The wicked stepmother winds up dead during the party.

No... that is not, and never will be, me!
If it was my parents would most likely kick me out anyway. So thanks to my parents I can't become someone like that or my entire life would be screwed. :o

I have only had three game dreams. Guitar hero: that damn Note highway.

portal: GLaD0S trapped me in a room with only a chair and lectured me on the dangers of using portals for recreational uses. And strangely enough, also why turrets are allergic to purple.

And portal 2: Playing portal 2 coop with my friend. Then the coop bots jump out and start beating the crap out of me. My friend just stole their portal guns and ran away.

Myself, I've had plenty of other-game dreams, but more like physical sensation dreams - frustration at not being able to get the interface to do what I wanted it to do - only to wake up with my HANDS in the AIR... No duh, Zek, you aren't actually touching a keyboard and mouse, why expect the game to work? :D
