wow less than 24 hours! You rock! I remember posting something about 24 hours and someone said it had never been done, but you proved it can be if a dev team is committed! I take my hat off to you good sirs. ( actually can't test it on my comp for another day cuz I moved but I will assume it works)

After patched, it still doesn't even start. When I click steam sol survivor's icon, appear red icon in middle of monitor and then .... cadenza screen and then just stop working and window's background again.

Thanks for the patch, and the demo has been patched too! :) Nice move (I only have the demo for the moment -see just below why-).

So... it looks like we still can't remap controls and the international keyboard moving issue is still present (the WASD not behaving as expected on non English keyboard).
Too bad 'cause you're basically alienating all non UK/US keyboard users here (read potential customers ;)).

Programming is not always easy for sure, but I really hope that this non-WASD keyboard (or control remap) will now go top in your priority for the next patch.
Most of strangers like me are waiting for this I guess.

Bindable keys will be in the next patch. And i disagree about the international keyboards. My german QWERTZ keyboard layout now works as intended, only the Umlaute (äöü) don't work, instead i just get ?. Maybe the font does not support such letters. Not that big of an issue.

Don't worry, you'll see bindable keys soon enough. And if you are colorblind, they'll add an option for that too with the next patch.

This is a change going directly into our next patch as highest priority. I can't give an exact date, but it will be quick. :)

Thanks for the patch and support guys. I haven't really figured out how to get the Equal Opportunity Constructor achievement though, I'm still stuck at 63/64 after the patch (and yes, I've confirmed that I got the patch, I saw it getting installed).

To claim your rightfully earned Equal Opportunity Constructor achievement, you only need jump into a Wars game, where the escalation turret will drop in and count for the final point.

Cool!

Can I ask, when you say....

Tweaked radiation and railgun turret damage.

In which direction have you tweaked it? Are the rad and rail towers weaker now or?

To claim your rightfully earned Equal Opportunity Constructor achievement /.../Ah, okay. I was thinking that I maybe had to do something like that… So I guess I should've tried that before posting. Thanks!

Railguns have been tweaked up a bit damage wise.

Oh really? Nice!

I've neglected the Railguns actually :( Think tonight I will give them a go :p

Thanks dude!

lol you are definitely the most helpful poster I have ever come across ;)

Railguns were not previously receiving the appropriate damage bonus to mechanical creeps. Now that they are properly classified, they should do more damage to the creeps they're designed to kill! :)

In what way were radiation towers tweaked?

ColdEquation
04-01-2010, 06:54 PM
Radiation turrets now have a stronger damage multiplication effect, making them better when grouped with other turrets.

I thought the 1.3 was submitted to steam over a week ago? What the turd muffins is going on? Also what is the ETA on coop survivor and some more maps?

I just bought the game for a buddy to help support you guys more and he absolutely loves the game.

Is the fix to survival ever going to hit the steam version? Id be willing to buy the game again from some other service but it wouldnt make me happy.

The 1.3 patch with the survival fix will go live with 1.4, which is in testing now. We've been preparing some new multiplayer maps in the mean time, so this minor hiccup hasn't set back the other content we had planned - it will just be more at once.

I hope there are some more cooperative maps that we get to build together as those are the best! Just had another buddy get this game and we had a 4 player Sol Survival night!

Would love to see 4 player coop survivor to take it to the max!

Sir, there are FOUR co-op maps where you get to build together.

There's a map in there that we've added as a pretty difficult challenge too. It was rolling us pretty hard on Intense.

Get to it! :)
