If you have played it, please let me know:
1. Is it more FPS than RPG, ala Borderlands?
Or is it more RPG than FPS.
I didnt play stalker or fallout, so wont get any references to either (actually, Borderlands is the only rpg type game I have EVER played).
2. Does the mouse feel like it is with smoothing on? Or is being limited by 30fps type behavior (does it feel like you are under water trying to move the mouse)?
3. Can you re-bind the keys to ANY keys on the keyboard?
Thanks.

I hope not.
That game got way too stealthy minded for me.
:(
Thanks all for the input.

You can run through guns blazing if you want, but you will get ripped up if you just charge into every room. Helps a ton if you are a little careful and scope out the place first.

Yeah, I have been reading that to save ammo, you need to be more on the cautious side.
I like that you can do it either way though.
Cant wait to get home tonight and play.

Yes. But it looks way better than Borderlands.

No it is more FPS.

I just answered this in another post. I dropped mouse sensitiviy down 2 full clicks for both movement and aiming. It doesn't feel like in water, but with high sensitivity you get a swishing near blur feeling when looking around.
3. Can you re-bind the keys to ANY keys on the keyboard?
So far yes.
I can only answer this based on my personal experiences. It may be different for others with different rigs.

Well, key binding should be any rig.
Keys bound to may differ though.
I play with arrows and Right: ctrl, shift, enter, \
And: Delete, End, Page Down.
And: Num0, Num1, Num4, Num7.
Should have asked this also:
Mouse buttons re-bindable?
I use R.Mouse as forward.
Some games will not let you rebind mouse (I am looking at YOU, TwinSector).

Yeah,
It is a holdover from the 90's gaming, when they were just switching games from keyboard only to keyboard + mouse.
It was the only way I could comfortably play back then, and I never did break the habbit (and since I only like FPS games, I dont really have to either, hehe).

Hahaha, I used to play like this also back in the 90s. I didn't make the switch to WASD keys till around Rainbow Six series. Im glad I did.
WASD is the norm and default for about 99% of FPS games.
