Since Just Cause 2 is a Steamworks game, are we going to be able to preload? I've googled around a bit, but I haven't been able to find anything informative.

If there ever was a question that gets asked the most then this is it. :D

Most of the time STEAM will allow preloading anywhere between a week and the release date. So a good thing to do is just keep checking!

Preload usually starts two or three days before release, if we get any it will probably start Saturday or Sunday.

I hope they let us preload I hate the slow slammed servers that come with everyone trying to get there copy at once.

Seems like that.... they are probably fearing that the mod community may "force" release it.. lol

Wont happen. As far as I know the Pro-Load files are encrypted and some files like the main EXE aren't in preloads.

Really? For me, it doesn't unlock until Saturday/Sunday.

It doesn't look like there is going to be a preload. If there was it would have happened by now.

Truth be told...
Reminds me of Bad Company 2 anticipation.
But people got over it real quick.
I'm not denying i want a preload too though...

Yeah, we got over it.. but that didn't do anything to make up for not getting to play it on release day. :/
