Injector Question.

Live STeam Injector: Uses Steam from the Boiler - Use when standing still?
Exaust Steam Injector: Users exhaust Steam from the piston stroke - Use when on the move?

Live Water Injector: Uses the Steam from the Live Steam Injector?
Exaust Water Injector: Uses exhaust Steam from the Piston Stroke?

In total there are 2, and the BOTH inject Water in the Boiler from the Tank/Tender....

Is my Understanding Correct?

Cheers.

Live Steam Injector: Uses Steam from the Boiler - Use when standing still or going downhill with closed regulator.
Exaust Steam Injector: Users exhaust Steam from the piston stroke - Use when on the move.
Live Water Injector: Uses the Steam from the Live Steam Injector.
Exaust Water Injector: Uses exhaust Steam from the Piston Stroke.

So do you mean that we use
I/K when mooving and O/L with closed regulator?

It is easy to remember because I has the same shape of a funnel, which remind us that if the funnel chuff, puff, huff and puff, we use I/K for injector.
I hope it will help you guys to remember.
And thanks you for this knew useful knowledge.

"So do you mean that we use

This is correct.

The way I remember it is, Live steam comes from the boiler, and L is for Live, so thats the one I use when I want to take steam pressure from the boiler! :)

Easy peisy!

Cheers.

I/K when mooving
O/L when mooving with closed regulator (going downhill) or when stopped.
O/L Other option is if you need quickly refill a boiler when move and boiler pressure is little bit under maximum value before safety valve blow off (in example 60163 A1 Tornado is set to 248 psi)Close Live Water valve and Live Steam injector when pressure fall to cca 85% of maximum boiler pressure, then set I/K (water valve open first)
