I don't know if this has been reported before but I think it is an unpleasant moment during the game: after you complete it the developer commentaries are unlocked. Playing in the commentary mode sometimes the voice of Glados and the developer's are overlapped and you can't distinguish very well what everybody is saying.
If you lower the volume, the voice of Glados is at a lower level but so is the developer's.

One example: In chamber 19, when you're on the moving platform and heading towards the oven, there is a developer commentary. Because you're on the platform either you play it or miss it (you can't return). In both cases Glados starts a monologue, but if you play the commentary you will experience this problem.
I know it's not a crucial issue but it would be very nice to have it corrected.

I think a separate volume meter for the commentaries or pausing Glados when they are played will do the job.
Thank you.

You could always create a blue portal before the Pit of Fire in Test Chamber 19, point at the commentary node, then listen after GLaDOS is done talking.

Especially listening to Ellen McLain talking about what she does in the area where you fight GLaDOS.
GLaDOS just keeps talking there...

I seem to recall being slightly bothered by this same issue the first time I went through it. In that part of the game GlaDOS takes a while to shut the hell up. However, upon exploring the possiblities it is possible to listen to Eric Wolpaw's comments without GlaDOS blabbering on and on and on.

Here is a video I made of that has the clear commentary: Chamber-19 #3 commentary (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6FUqSIOCnE)

Yes, now it seems every commentary can be played without GLaDOS interrupting.
I didn't know you can point at it and simply use the E key though not being anywhere near it.
Thanks

You can also just listen to the commentary tracks outside the game. (though truth be told I can no longer remember if this is because they're all in the right format, or if I found them somewhere and downloaded them separately from extracting them in the game).

You just need the GCF viewer. All the sound files are in mp3 format along with all the sounds used and the end song, too.
