View Full Version : Need Help for Spontaneous Outburst Mission

I get overwhelmed in the Sontaneous Outburst Mission... The command Computer tells me I need more command nodes... I guess if I figure out how to get more of them nodes I can build more troups..

So there is this red grid on 3 locations, I figure I have to convert them/capture them... I have no idea how to do that. the tutorial missions, the first 3 mission dont say much about anything.

Can I set patrol points like to old C&C?
Can I set Escort Mode like the old C&C?

Any tips for me?

And yeah, online gaming for solo mission is stupid. I could not play when my provider went down

Is it that mission where you're supposed to get 12 civilian transport trucks through the map?

If that's the one, Im stuck in that mission as well. Basically, solo play is impossible. Nod has 3 spawn points, you have one. Nod has 2 working crawlers, you only have one. So whatever you do, Nod always has twice the units. There's no way to take out both crawlers with the handfull of units that you can build from 50 command points. Im able to take out 1 crawler, but by the time you've done so, you probably suffered damage to your units, so you gotta make a choice: either retreat and repair your units or go after the other crawler and attempt to destroy it. But by the time you're units are repaired, two minutes have passed and a new Nod crawler spawns. And when i go after the second crawler, i get pounded. And by the time you have a new army ready, a new Nod cwawler has spawned which is already pumping out a units!

It's unfair! So, when playing solo, either give us:

- two crawlers
- Twice the command points to spend on units
- Have only 1 Nod crawler

Only when playing with a co-commander, this mission is do-able. But when playing solo: forget about it, you won't get the job done.

I've played through the gdi campaign so far, and it feels balanced for co op, but not so much for single player. Add me on steam (xenoaroe) and will do co op with you if u wish.

I struggled a bit with this one, but it was doable solo on Normal difficulty at least.
I played as the offense class and just tried following the civilian trucks around. The enemy units seemed to shoot at me first as long as I was in range, so some of the trucks made it through. Keep your crawler mobile, queue up units and deploy when you need to repair or rebuild.
