View Full Version : FO3 GOTY Check Data box or DL from GFWL

Curious. You all likely read similar questions but I am confused. I have GOTY. But how do I know if I have the DLC's. I see no presence of it on the main menu, however on the main menu where it says "download", once that is clicked, I see the DLC's at GFWL and are ready to download I think. However, I checked the DLC's on the main option box, you know the DATA Files option that shows in thw pop up when you click the game.

The DLC's are already present with Steam's GOTY, already downloaded ? Or must I DL each one by one from GFWL. I'm confused, forgive a FO3 noob.

I'm not sure how it is in the PC version, but in Xbox you had to download them all.

The GoTY comes with the DLC. After you check the Data Files and launch the game, you're suppose to get radio signals once you leave the vault, directing you to the DLC story lines.

^ Thanks. I never left the vault. Since I am a new player to FO3 GOTY. I was too worried about the DLC's.

Np, this comes up from time to time. Have fun and I suggest exploring a bit of the wasteland before starting any of the DLC.

^ Indeed. That will be my first step, going to spend some time in the wasteland (D.C.) before moving on to other areas. I had this game since it came out on STEAM (GOTY addition I mean) around Xmas 09 - Jan 2010 but never really got into depth, other games got in the way that I didn't finish and at the time. I'm going to game on now. Thanks again. :D
