Bought it the day it came out and played it a bit. Haven't had time the last while to get back to it. tried launching today and goes to black screen and crashes straight back to desktop. tried launching the multi and it went into the menu screen and said it needed an update from GFWL which i clicked on. now when I try to launch the multi the logo comes up and it says bioshock has stopped working. the singleplayer is still just going to black screen when i click launch and crashing back to desktop. Haven't changed anything since I originally had it working. Tried deleting saves but to no avail. I'm stumped and very annoyed. Any suggestions??

I'm having a similar issue - was working SWEET, then i downloaded the GFWL update (huge mistake) now it crashes out when trying to log me in each time I click on "single player".

Fixed it. Since new Nvidia graphics update it had desktop set to 16bit colour instead of 32 bit.
Changed back to 32 bit and works fine again.

same here, my bioshock 2 worked 2 days back, and now if i want log to the games for windows live, so crash every time... sry for my english
